Our flag is at half-mast….
It is with sadness to note that our flag was at half-mast this week in remembrance of one of our long standing members Mr Bill Hodge who sadly passed away on Saturday 15th December 2018. Some seniors’ colleagues have this week been reflecting on Bill’s life recalling that he had also been a member at Porthcawl Golf Club and had kept the Pen-y-Bont Inn, Llanmynydd and The Half Way, Llandeilo Road for some time before retiring to Alicante, Spain. Bill returned to Carmarthenshire and lived near his son Wayne in Gorslas. Our thoughts and condolences are with Bill’s family and friends.

Sunday: Winter League-3 08.30-09.30 hours & 11.30-12.40 hours
Other News…..
The club would like to welcome new member John Williams who joined last week and would like to ask other members of the senior section to make him feel at home. Also thank you to all the members for repairing your divots, pitchmarks and for raking the bunkers.

Santa will soon be with us so it’s time to turn our thoughts to the New Year's Eve celebrations. Our Entertainments Group event organisers Sheila Neate and Olive Corner have been busy arranging our New Year's Party.
Members, guests and friends are all welcome, tickets are £25 and are still available. So if you would like to join the fun please don’t hesitate, talk to the Bar Staff or contact Sandy or Martin to book your place.
