Another glorious week here at Carmarthen Golf Club and the weather has really been on our side, warm, dry and with a slight breeze, it's been perfect golfing weather!
Last Week
Wednesday - The Seniors beat Neath at home. Jamie Dean was off Caddying at Wentworth for Chris Evans in the Pro am! what a fantastic experience, it reminded me of a young lad I used to coach who did the same thing at his age and now he's playing in it! On the subject of Jamie, he and Jason played in the Neath Bell on the weekend, Jason got the longest drive and Jamie fired in a hole in one (pictured) Well done boys.
Thursday - The Kingsbury Cup was won by Nick Ingfram and Huw Rees with 40pts beating Ian Griffiths and Rodri Davies on countback. In the Summer League Ed Wheeler won the lowest Nett with 75 and Steven Rees won the lowest gross with 79.
Friday - Society Day and all had a great time.
Saturday - Ladies medal winner waqs Alison Evans and Ann Bateman came runner up.The Centary Challenge was won by Tom Williams with a net 72. Sunday -The Knights/Rabbits beat Milford Haven Away 4-2!!!
Tuesday - The Ladies E S Evans Cup was won by Paula James with a net 70.

Today - Welsh Guards Society, Seniors away to Glynhir.
Thursday - Seniors W L Davies 1 9-11.40am. Summer League 5-5.30pm
Friday - Tywi Rotary Charity Day Shotgun start 12.30pm. All players off the course by 12pm please.
Saturday- Ladies Bron David Cup - Alternate Day 10.30-11am
Sunday - Armitage Tour 11.30-11.40am. Last Day for Club Knockouts - Brigstock and T S Davies Round 1.

Range is closed 1-6pm Fridays and Sunday's for FootGolf.

And Finally:
John Kingsbury enjoyed his 87th birthday with a fabulous cake with his friends at the club.
I am away this afternoon until next Tuesday, so there will be no Junior Coaching this Sunday, although I had 5 great kids turn up last week, so its looking promising.
