Juniors Section - Fresh Start Project....
On Tuesday Brett Walker chaired the first 2019 Junior Organisers Meeting and set out plans for building upon the recent successes and to recruit new beginners and integrate these with our existing young players. The objective is to try and bridge the gap between our experienced juniors, the younger juniors and new beginners.
Members will be aware from the newsletter issued on 6th February that we were successful in obtaining Sport Wales funding which included the cost of purchasing 8x half sets of junior clubs.
With this in mind are there any members, particularly ladies (as ladies clubs are more suitable for juniors), who have old clubs at home that are gathering dust that could be donated and put to good use in helping new beginners to try out our great game?
If you can help with this request please speak to one of our Junior Organiser Team….Brett Walker Elin Jones, Jane Ingram, Martin Dean or Carwyn Evans.
