Now that the sun has decided to show it's face, it's time to get the kids out playing again, please look at the above poster and let friends and family know that these classes are starting over the next week. I have had a wonderful time teaching Llangunnor School this week and hopefully we'll get some more children up the club playing and enjoying soon.
Last Week:
Thursday - The Seniors beat Glynhir at home. The Summer league was won by Carl Evans -Gross and Nett!
Friday - The Bedfordshire DOGS thoroughly enjoyed their day out, I quote, " The best we've seen the course in 9 years" well done the team! The P C Evans Cup was abandoned due to weather and re-arranged for 22/6. The Ukulele Night was a very enjoyable night and a big success. Thanks must go to Jen Lewis who donated all her birthday money to the chairs, Jen asked me to thank all the members who generously gave to her, to celebrate what must have been her 50th Birthday. Cliff Webb gave his time and efforts to clean down the balcony before the event.
Saturday - After somewhat unexpected heavy rain on Friday night, Sam gave up his morning off to come in to rake over the bunkers with Andrew, a fantastic effort I think to ensure all the golfers could enjoy excellent playing conditions on Saturday. The Tretower Cup was won by Tony Jones with a net 67, after recently purchasing a New G400 Driver, I personally asked Tony for a quote and the response was "No comment". Cei Bach and Southerndown Golf Societies both enjoyed.
Sunday - The Tigers lost away to Haverfordwest, the Rabbits lost away at Garnant and the Ping Mixed beat Milford Haven at Trefloyne

I would ask all our members to please support the Pro Shop, this is your shop and all profits made go directly into keeping this club strong and sustainable. I fully understand in this day and age most purchases are done online but I simply ask, if you are looking for a new bag, clubs, shoes, balls, tees, trolley or clothing just give us a chance to beat a price you've seen. Feel free to drop me an email anytime to open discussions on your next purchase. Carwyn and I will be running special offers over the next couple of weeks so keep your eyes open when next in the shop.
Many thanks for reading and look forward to seeing you up the club soon.
