You may have noticed that last week's email of the Juniors was missing one Jamie Dean. Well, Jamie was away representing Wales as Captain of the strong under 16's side. His solid 2 points guided the team to victory over Surrey at St George's Hill. Well done Jamie, we are all very proud of you! (Jamie in action, pictured above)

Eddie Butler night was thoroughly enjoyed by all and was a great success
Saturday - Ladies Daily Mail Foursomes alternate day left Edna Morris & Olive Corner leading with 31pts.
The society from Haverfordwest Golf Club said "enjoyed our visit on Saturday. The course was in good condition, our welcome was very friendly, and the catering was first class".
Sunday - Dyfed Golfing Union Super 6 Semi Final & Final was competed between Machynys, Ashburnham, Tenby & Cardigan with Machynys & Tenby playing the final in the afternoon. Congratulations to Tenby who won the Final
Tigers drew Home to Glynhir 4-4.
Jamie Dean captained the Welsh boys U16 v Surry at St George's Hill where he contributed 2 points and leading Wales to a 6.5-5.5 victory.
Monday - Past Captains played Ashburnham Past Captains in their yearly match this year at Carmarthen, we won.
Tuesday - Ladies Daily Mail Foursomes was played and winners were Edna Morris & Olive Corner with 31pts, holding on to their lead from Saturday.

The course is once again in superb condition and recognition must go to Andrew, Sam and John for their hard work and expertise in giving us great playing conditions, I know a couple of the Ashburnham Past Captain's (who play here every year) commented that this is the best condition they've ever seen the course!
