Thursday- The Seniors Bill Naylon Salver 1 Division 1 was won by Peter Ashley-Jones with 37 points, beating Stuart Barclay and Tony Lloyd Jones on count back. Div 2 was won by Jimmy Crawford with 39 points. Div 3 and overall winner was Senior Captain Hywel Morris with 39 points.
Friday Night - Bingo Night! I'm not sure who won, however it was a huge success, congratulations to the entertainment committee on another well organised event.
Saturday - Rhian Pearn Qualifier, Challenge Bowl and May Medal 1 was won by Delyth Rees with a nett 73.
Sunday - The Mixed Pairs event went ahead, there were 31 pairs entered, 16 of which were guests from other clubs. The winning score was 43 points by guests from Machynys Golf Club Mike & Hazel John. Second prize also with 43 points loosing on count back went to club members Jane & Nick Ingram. Third prize with 40 points club members Sheila Neate and Paul McCall. A special mention must go to Linda Evans of Tenby Golf Club who attend on her own despite her husband’s ill health and came in outstanding individual score of 37 points. Very well done to our Vice Captain Fred Steel on organising the event, he has asked me to thank Club Captain Peter Jones, Jean Barratt and Carwyn Evans for their help and support in arranging the event.
Thursday - Our Seniors are away to Mond Valley. The first summer League kicks off at 5pm
Saturday - R&A 9 Hole Championship 8am-10am and 12pm-2pm. Gwen Phillips Salver 10.30-11am
Sunday - Alun Griffiths Cup Medal 8am-10.30am and 1.30pm-2.30pm
Monday - 1st Monday Qualifier for Seniors 10-11am
Tuesday - Ladies Stableford 11am-1pm
