Dear Member

Marchog to Morgado fundraising…it’s the last push…. The junior section organisers have arranged a ‘buying a square draw’ with three fantastic four ball prizes. A 100 square board has been placed in the bar area with each square for sale at a cost of £4 each.  Three numbers will be drawn and the prizes are: 1. Hole in one - 4 ball at Ashburnham Golf Club 2. Nearest to the pin - 4 ball at Cardigan Golf Club 3. Longest drive - 4 ball at Tenby Golf Club   £4 is a bargain in consideration of these prizes on offer and please do not forget this is in aid of a worthy cause so let’s all get behind it and support our juniors.   Below is a link to the Junior Team Golf competition website, please take a look and you will note in the competition history section that Carmarthen Golf Club are the only club to have reached the finals twice, what an achievement that is!!  Also there is a link below to the competition Twitter page that contains lots of information and will be a useful informative source during the competition.   www.juniorteamgolf.co.uk @juniorteamgolf

This week the team have been busy out on the course practising with Martin Dean and John Dive.  At last Saturday’s get together they managed to play 15 holes and it was the first time on the course together since they qualified in Builth last October.  Jamie won with 31 points and Iestyn 2nd with 29 points.  They all enjoyed the day and will be meeting on the range Wednesday evening for practice and playing again next weekend and are looking forward to Portugal at the end of January.
